On 25 July 2009 Brian, ( AKA Caliger ) left at approximately 0800 hours to conduct a mounted patrol to a village in the Tangi Valley known as Doab. He and his crew of 7 maned a MRAP Vehicle second in the order of movement and made their way down to the western village. As they cleared past the Juy Zarin Bazaar his vehicle was struck by a command wire detonated IED comprised of 800 - 1000 pounds of HME Explosive ( Home Made Explosive ) which destroyed his vehicle by blowing the engine and...

Ok so I know I havnt posted anything or emailed anyone like i had planed to but... im at a COP that runs its power off a 3K genny... needless to say i barely have the power to charge my PSP let alone the time. So far things are well.. things... I was hit by a 82mm mortar that landed 5 meters from me while i was preparing to drop a 60mm set on impact in the tube to return fire.. suprisingly enough i should be a vaparized red mist but here i am with all my fingers and toes and still...
